Nyasaland-Rhodesia Field Force.  1916 (18 SEP) registered cover (utilising a captured German East Africa envelope) bearing Tanganyika 1d, 3d, 4d and 1/- overprinted NF, with FPO 1 CDSs (at New Langenburg at this time).  Sent by Brigadier-General Northey to the Secretary of the Red Cross Fund in Blantyre, and endorsed by him at lower left; pink NFF 1 registration label on the front, Zomba transit and Blantyre arrival on reverse.  Backflap missing but still a fine and interesting cover, ex Lobdell and Drysdall; BPA Certificate (2011)
