Police), to family member in Deptford, countersigned Lt. Henniker Gotley, cancelled by the rare double-ring Army Post Office CDS Code 2, 4 SEP 16.  Kasama squared circle transit and Base 4 violet receiving cachet, altered in manuscript to '1'.  Ex Sinton.  Minor creasing  
  
Very few Base 2 covers are known; thought to have been in the Bismarckburg area after its occupation on 8.6.16.  A very similar card from Sgt. Alexander is illustrated on Page 37 of Drysdall and Pennycuic
