Official. 1944-50 "Set 20A" (= 1944 issue) 1½d "yellow-buff and deep slate-green" ("SUID-AFRIKA" hyphenated, medium format), SG type O2 opt (14½mm spacing) WITH DIAERESES, horizontal pair, neatly cancelled by part cds x2. Folded perfs and centred right, still fine used for this, and showing variety "Raised OFFICIAL" on right stamp. Extremely scarce, with this variety occurring only seven times in the 10x12 setting.
