Very fine wrapper sent from Lhanbryde to Elgin bearing a 1d rose-red Pl.60 (SG 40) lettered DK, neatly tied by a crisp black, boxed "LHANBRYDE" Scots local cancellation (Type IX). Backstamped by an Elgin arrival cds for AU.18.1859. Light vertical crease at right of adhesive nevertheless an attractive wrapper. Alcock scarcity rating E. Ex. "Claymore".
