The Rare, No Clasp, Queen’s South Africa Medal awarded to Petty Officer 1st Class Albert Edward Powell Royal Navy who served aboard H.M.S. Doris comprising Queen’s South Africa Medal,1899-1902, 3rd type, no clasp, (A.E. Powell. P.O. 1st Cl: H.M.S. Doris), impressed naming very lightly toned, very fine (1)
Albert Edward Powell was born in Devon on the 13th of August 1864. He joined the Royal Navy on the 24th of March 1880 as a Boy Class 2. He served aboard H.M.S. Doris from the 27th of October 1899 to the 12th of October 1900. He was Discharged to Shore in 1902.
