The 1914 Star awarded to Private, later Corporal, George Bee, “C” Company, 2nd Battalion the Middlesex Regiment who was Killed in Action at Fleurbaix on the 11th of June 1915 comprising, 1914 Star, with copy Aug-Nov Clasp, (L-12957 Pte G. Bee. 2/Middx: R.), very fine (1)
Corporal George Bee landed in France with the Battalion on the 7th of November 1914, the 2nd Battalion were in the Trenches at Fleurbaix when Corporal Bee was Killed on the 11th of June 1915, he is buried in Rue-David Military Cemetery, Fleurbaix, Plot I, Row H Grave 67, he was a Boot Repairer from Derbyshire on the 10th of March 1913. He was the son of Henry and Anne Bee, aged 29 when he Died.
