Birmingham, William Hallan, Skidmore’s mule Halfpenny 1792, Draped bust of David Garrick left, rev. 8-line legend. re locating servants, edge plain, 30.75mm/11.62gm. (DH 139a). Another the same but on a very small flan and edge rounded, 28mm/8.01gm. (DH 139a), both good Extremely Fine, toned with traces of mint lustre. Flan is so small on second that 8‑line legend does not fit – on first, rev. die is broken at edge so cud showing. Both extremely rare ‘RRR’. [2]
