Birmingham, William Hallan, Skidmore’s mule Halfpenny 1793, His draped bust left, rev. draped bust of David Garrick left, edge diagonally milled, 30mm/10.21gm. (DH 133). Another mule with rev. ruins of St. Paul’s Covent Garden, edge plain, 30mm/11.79gm. (DH 135a). Another mule with rev, IOM cypher in laurel wreath, edge SKIDMORE HOLBORN LONDON, 29mm/12.67gm. (DH 137), all good Extremely Fine, first and third with traces of original lustre, second toned ‑ all with reflective fields. First rare, second very rare ‘RR’, third extremely rare ‘RRR. [3]
