Haverhill, John Fincham, (general store owner) Halfpenny 1794, Weaver in a box loom, rev. Crest on cypher, edge PAYABLE AT JOHN FINCHAMS SUFFOLK, 29mm/9.48gm. (DH 31). Another the same but edge plain, 29mm/10.08gm. (DH 31e). Another but reverse with a shuttle over plough, edge PAYABLE IN HULLM AND IN LONDON -xx-, 29mm/11.14gm. (DH 32) all good Extremely first and third with some lustre and proof-like with blue iridescence, second toned with only a trace of lustre, this piece - very rare edge ‘RR’. [3]
