Description
Wide-ranging and detailed specialised Italy and States revenue collection in three boxes with strength in documents bearing combination usages of Municipal and stamps. The lot comprises many and varied collections including old time original collections of Municipals, right through to modern unsorted auction lots and accumulations. Much of serious interest and variety from classic early passport stamps to modern issues. A huge volume of material, intact and ripe for further research, with hundreds of documents bearing adhesives, and many thousands of different stamps. The lot ex Koeppel; much of this lot would no doubt have been the basis for his Italian Municipal Revenue Stamps book published in 1999.
