1880 (c.) cover (a little reduced at left) from Jammu to Amritsar, franked on face by imperforate 1878-79 ¼a red on horizontally laid paper, two examples, sharing light duplex (S&M types 25+26) and tied by pen line, with Type 29 despatch CDS at foot. On reverse, Sialkot and Amritsar British Indian CDSs, and framed "POSTAGE DUE / 1 ANNA", since external postage had not been prepaid. Slight cover faults, still a very scarce franking.
