Description
Judicial. 1897-1902 De La Rue overprinted set of nine used including the only recorded used example of the $3, with some low value duplicates, all save one 50c punched and with manuscript cancellations. Some faults, commensurate with usage, the $3 with a closed tear at top and the $25 with a few light foxed spots. Accompanied by a wonderful piece ex Medlicott, with (applied on three separate occasions) 10c x 4, 24c x 5, 50c x 4, $2 x 4 and $5, punched, with manuscript and crayon cancellations. Also the 1901 local overprints 3c (4, including a vertical pair, overprinted for use in Selangor and cancelled at Kuala Lumpur as always) and $3, this faded, punched and grubby, but one of just two recorded examples.
