Childers at an internment camp in Tavoy, a fascinating item of great rarity with excellent provenance, formerly in the Gerald Davis collection.</p><p>Other notable sections include classic Ceylon “Pence” and “Cents” issues with blocks, multiples, errors and Officials, plus a unique De La Rue appendix sheet for the Edward VIII Telegraph stamps bearing fifteen unadopted imperforate colour trials. China is represented by classic Large Dragons, Dowagers, Red Revenues and Local Posts, while the People’s Republic section includes the Mei Lan-Fang miniature sheets, the 1967 Poems of Mao set and the 1980 Year of the Monkey stamp.
