China is represented by classic Large Dragons, Dowagers, Red Revenues and Local Posts, while the People’s Republic section includes the Mei Lan-Fang miniature sheets, the 1967 Poems of Mao set and the 1980 Year of the Monkey stamp. 1926 (12 Feb) piece ex De La Rue archives (74 x 186mm) with perforated colour trials for the 1922-34 Script wmk 2c green (issued 15/6/26), 4c orange (issued 9/11/26) and 6c scarlet (issued 9/11/26), endorsed 'Appd for colour' with M/S initials and date at foot. Crucially, ALL ARE WMK UPRIGHT and therefore of proof status, as the issued stamps were invariably wmk sideways. A unique and highly desirable item, This trio formerly listed as SG 55a, 60b and 64a which are now priced in the footnote priced at £1,250 each after the discovery of this piece proving their proof status in 2013.&nbsp;
