POSTAL HISTORY: 1903 folded letter sheet with 1d KEVII issue cancelled with an Ibi manuscript cancel dated 22 MY 1903, also overstruck with an indistinct cds dated 29 MY 1903, addressed to St Lucia with a Castries receiver on reverse (21 JY 1903). The letter has historically interesting content mentioning "about two months ago Colonel Jackson (of the Royal Engineers) was stopping here on his way to Yala to demarcate the Anglo-German boundary" (this was to be the border with then German Cameroon. A fine cover which is exceptional on many levels
