Senegal: 1929 envelope from Sedhiou Senegal to Casablanca, with stamps floated off carried by the ''S.S. Général Archinard'', during the course of the journey on the River Casamance the mails became soaked with some mails not arriving until late January and some even carried by air. Bearing French vernacular three-line cachet in black translating to ''Mail arrived wet at Dakar following damage by water in steamer ARCHINARD'', very scarce.
