1840-1880s mint and used collection housed in three volumes.  We note 1840 1d black plated range to Plate XI, 1840 2d blue, good range of line-engraved with 1d rose-red Plate 225, with blocks, shades and wmk varieties, 1847-54 Embossed to 1/- with 6d mauve with wmk inverted, surface-printed 1/- Stock Exchange forgeries (2), 1867-83 high values to £1 with £1 SPECIMEN, 1883-84 £1 both wmk types, some stamps accompanied by certificates, generally fine condition, a lot with much potential.
