1840-1960s mint and used collection housed in two albums. We note 1840 1d (4), 2d blue (2) good range of line-engraved with 1870 ½d Plate 9, 1½d Plate 3, 1847-54 Embossed to 1/- and 6d shades, surface-printed (many with postmark interest), 1867-80 high values to £1 (mix of wmks) 1883-84 to 10/-, 1883-83 £1 (wmk orbs and crowns), 1883-83 lilac & green set, 1887-1900 Jubilees to £1, some Officials, 1902-10 DLR printings to £1 with shades, Somerset House to 10/- with shades, 1911-12 wealth of Downey Heads and shades, 1912-24 wmk simple cypher values to 1/- with shades including ½d deep cobalt-green and 2½d Prussian Blue, well represented range of Seahorses to £1 with DLR printings to 10/-, 1929 PUC £1 black, later KGV and complete KGVI, Postage Dues and album of assorted Booklet panes and Cylinder Blocks, generally fine condition, many accompanied by Certificates, a valuable lot with much potential.
