1880-82 2c to 12c, five values, wmk CC (reversed on 2c and 8c), each pos. 4 on sheet except 12c which is pos. 5, with serifed 'SPECIMEN' opt (type D8), brilliant part o.g. with wonderful fresh colours. Some clipped perfs but a magnificent set which is believed to be unique. Ex De La Rue archives and Marcus Samuel. (N.B. The 16c value does not exist thus, Samuel having been misled by a stamp which was actually wmk CA over crown sideways).
