POSTAL HISTORY: 1935 Printed INDIAN POSTS AND TELEGRAPHS DEPARTMENT envelope from Bahrain to Quetta, bearing circular 'By Air' and boxed Bahrain Persian Gulf District handstamps, backstamped by Bahrain d/s for 1 MAY, with Quetta arrival for 6 MAY, fine, condition far above average with these markings. This envelope arrived twenty five days before the fateful earthquake on 31st May 1935.
