Excellence Giegler Pacha, Kartoum', the reverse with indistinct Italian post office cds, containing the original hand-written letter which states: "Dear Geigler Pacha, There was one question/which I forgot to ask you this morn-/ing. The General (Hicks) wants to know/if you have written to the Mudir of Meddatamineh (?) to tell him to/go to Dafur. Also whether steps/have been taken to re-establish the Camel post./Believe me/Yrs truly/Arthur Farquhar". A most fascinating item of Sudan philately
