1938-51 set mint varieties in blue SAFE album, written up and illustrated, a small but interesting range with blown-up photos accompanying. Printer's trials on blue-lined paper of 3d (block of four) and 10/- frame (pair); 2d carmine horizontal pair (somewhat oxidised) with spectacular paper fold variety; 3d perf 13 block of 24 with excellent re-entries, and imprint block of 4 with Plate 1A R10/3 'crane' flaw; major re-entries from R1/3-4 of perf 13 6d, 1/-, 2/- and 5/- in blocks of four; 1/- block with the large and very visual R7/5 'slash' flaw; further 1/- Plate 2 block with R8/6 'cannonballs' flaw, and 1/- New Constitution block with R9/4 broken 'R'.
