POSTAL HISTORY: 1867 (Feb 13) embossed Valentine's envelope addressed to Miss Rouquette, Walthamstow franked by 1864-79 1d rose-red, plate 81 (GE), neatly tied by Brighton duplex, the reverse with dispatch and two London arrival cds (14.2), with very ornate Valentine's card depicting a colourful bouquet of flowers above an open book showing 'Forget Me Not' all surrounded by a fancy gold and lace framework. Very fine and most attractive. SG 43
