OVERSEAS MAIL (CHINA): 1863 (29 Aug) yellow envelope to Shanghai franked with 1862-64 4d, Plate 3 (QL), 1s, Plate 1, (KL) neatly tied by Liverpool duplex, via France to Marseilles, then by British packet (P&O) to Hong Kong and then finally Shanghai (23.10), red accountancy '1d' to Hong Kong, the reverse with various transit and arrival cds. A very fine and rare cover to a scarce destination. SG 79, 90
