UNPLATED: (GA), good to huge margins with portion of adjoining stamp at top, on 1843 (22 Mar) entire letter addressed to Bungay tied with superb, upright strike of London number '2' in Maltese Cross, arrival cds for MR 23 1843' alongside both in black, the reverse with London dispatch for 22nd which was one day before the Maltese Cross was entered into the proof book. Very early use and a most attractive cover.  SG 8
