1843 "Valentine" letter. Very fine hand coloured floral Valentine "Cobweb" lettersheet with embossed borders. Sent from Wednesbury to Brewood and franked with a large four margin 1d red brown Plate 30, beautifully tied by a crisp black MC. Backstamped at Wednesbury and Wolverhampton for FE.13.1843. A very attractive and rare early Valentine. Ex. Alcock
