Very fine unused o.g. example showing "Half-penny" underprint on gummed side believed to be used as a trial for the "PEARS' SOAP" advertisements, showing the usual central pinhole caused when the underprint was positioned for printing. A magnificent example of this rare printing variety and the first example we have handled in over a decade. Spec. K27p. Ex. "Verus". SG197var.
