Postal Stationery.  1894 4d red envelope (H&G 4) to Genoa with 2½d on 2d green (SG 16), tied by NUKUALOFA duplex of 7 JA 94 (stamp corner folded prior to cancellation).  Crayon Postage Due markings (Def. P. 2½/Fine 5/Collect 7½d) at left but no further markings or evidence of collection.  Backstamped Auckland, Naples and Genoa, few minor blemishes, but a scarce commercial use to an unusual destination.  BPA Certificate (2004)
