Tobacco Duty: 1927 (7 Dec) ‘DUTY PAID’ tax label for application to tobacco packets, Die proof of a proposed design in orange-yellow executed on thin wove paper with attached overlay flap in tracing paper, endorsed in manuscript ‘approved’ with date and initials at upper right. Pin holes clear of design at left, reflective of archival source, nevertheless a highly attractive and almost certainly unique proof, Ex De La Rue archives.&nbsp;
