1895 (JU 25) ‘SCHLOTTFELDT… KOSMOS’ printed commercial cover from Port Stanley, registered to Buenos Aires, franked by 1891-1902 2½d Prussian blue and 6d orange-yellow pair, tied by fine strikes of type F1 Falkland Islands cds, with very fine ‘(Crown)/REGISTERED’ mark at left. Undelivered and with boxed ‘NON RECLAME’ and ‘REBUT/ BUENOS AIRES’ hs on face. Slight creasing and soiling but an exceptional and most attractive cover bearing a very rare franking. The postage (½d overpaid) represents triple 4d rate + 2d registration. SG 29, 33
