Description
British Commonwealth QV-QEII mint and used collection housed in assorted volumes with strength in Papua, including Australian States with Victoria and Western Australia issues (some higher values and postage dues), German New Guinea, G.R.I. opts, with 1914-15 3d on 30pf used on piece (SG 23 cat £225) and 4d on 40pf mint (SG 24 cat £180), 1931 part set to £1 and later Air Mail issue as part set, 1935 Air £2 and £5 (used), Papua ‘Lakatoi’ issue with some complete sets and organised by types, with some mint pairs and larger blocks and complete sheet of the ½d, Officials, etc. Lot also includes Churchill 1965 Omnibus (not complete) on cover, and Sarawak 1934 set to $10 on ‘Centenary Day Cover’' endorsed cover, with Kuching cds for Sep 1941, mixed condition, with fine.
