The team at Stanley Gibbons Baldwin's is proud to present our forthcoming sale: Stamps &amp; Covers of the World Including the Dr Arnold Brickman Collection of the Falkland Islands.&nbsp;This substantial sale will take place across two days and incorporates material from Great Britain and Collections &amp; Ranges.&nbsp; The Great Britain section is relatively small, but contains a nice run of single items and some very decent collections.&nbsp;There is a good section of Commonwealth and All World collections with many offered intact.British Commonwealth material encompasses our usual range of carefully-described single items and sets, with some nice postal history and single-country collections.&nbsp;Highlights include a splendid range of Falklands and Dependencies from Dr Arnold Brickman's collection, particularly strong in the Centenary issue, especially used, and Falklands used in the Dependencies. As is to be expected from Dr Brickman, the quality is stellar.&nbsp; India features unusual material with a good section of 1854 reprints; KUT includes a mint 1922 £50; Straits Settlements has one of the absolute pinnacles of Malayan philately, the 1892 3c on 32c irregular interpanneau block of three with the surcharge omitted on the upper stamp, and another fabulous rarity with the 1906 4c on 18c Labuan block with double surcharge on two, one of which uniquely has the line through 'B'.Our European and Foreign offering is unusually fine, featuring Albania with fine Double-headed Eagles and 1910-30s postal history, Brazil, China including 1878 Large Dragon 5ca block of 15 unused, some special Croatia with many proofs, Greece from Large Hermes Heads, Olympics and 1927 5d Academy of Sciences inverted centre used, Italy including 1941 Hitler Mussolini unissued set of three on cover plus the unique cover with commercial single franking of 10c, Russia from classics with 1858 watermarked 30k used and 1930-40s perforation varieties, and Yemen with scarce 1960s Royalist covers.We hope to welcome many clients to viewing and on the sale day.
