1911 ½d Green colour trials in Edwardian colours, very fine pair of se-tentant colour trials of the Edwardian design and proposed George V design (30mm spacing) printed on white wove ungummed paper endorsed in manuscript "Green" below the George V stamp. Some staining at the top, still a spectacular trial, unique in private hands. SG 218var, from £20,000.
