1856 well written-up collection in green Philatelic Album of Die II Alphabet III 1d reds with complete or near complete reconstructions of C8 plates 31 (240), 32 (242), 33 (240), 34 (240 with extras including strips of 7 (1), 4 (1) and pairs (11), then plates 35 (240), 36 (239), 37 (240) and 38 (240). Well above average condition, many fine/very fine. A lifetime's work. Plating not guaranteed though a sample check were all correct; careful inspection strongly recommended for the specialist. Spec.C8 (a few C9). SG 29-33 (1950+ stamps)
