Description
1852-53 1d red-brown Plate 171 (Die I, Alphabet II) with ‘Treasury Roulette’ used on entire letter with printed scenes one of bathing and the other aboard ship, addressed to London cancelled by St Leonards-on-Sea ‘682’ obliterator, backstamped with dispatch for ‘JA 15 1854’ and London arrival on the same day; adhesive creased and cover with peripheral faults.
