1841 1d red-brown, plate 22 (HG), clear to large margins, on cover (with enclosure) to London tied by two black Maltese crosses and bearing on front a clear strike in green of the Glencarradle, Tarbet private post double-ring handstamp with manuscript date for '28 Apr. 43'. The cover was forwarded to Glasgow where it received a second strike of a black Maltese cross, backstamped with transit and London (28.4) arrival cancels. Fine. RPS Certificate (1988).
