1840 2d Mulready lettersheet Forme 1, Stereo a91. &nbsp;Used example sent from London to Stamford, cancelled by a good strike of the London ‘7’ in Cross. &nbsp;Backstamped London and Stamford 3-4 AP 1843. &nbsp;Originally used as a wrapper; the side flaps are trimmed, there is some thinning on the reverse (clear of markings) and some creasing. A good-looking example of a rarity, of which few examples are known. Spec. ME3wg, £7,500.
