Telegraphs. 1860 (Jan) "ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH" 1r reddish purple, IMPERFORATE IMPRIMATUR, marginal from right of sheet with very large margins on other sides. Minor blemishes mentioned for accuracy (faint corner bend, small adhesion at upper left), otherwise very fine and rare. One of just four examples recorded in private hands (plus two in the Royal Collection).
