1887 6d "Jubilee" Essay (Line Perf 14). Very fine bottom left hand corner marginal unadopted trial as Type B, printed in mauve with additional embossing to parts of the design and solid colour circle in head area. Numerous minor differences can be seen compared to the eventual adopted design the most obvious of which is the additional line under the "d" of 6d. Endorsed in manuscript within sheet margin "Red Shade". Very scarce. 2014 BPA Cert. Ex. "Aureum".
