1887 5d "Jubilee" Duty Plate Die Proof (Die I & II). Very fine pair of duty plate die proofs cut to stamp size and mounted on buff card (52 x 53mm) endorsed on proofs in manuscript "1st Die" & "2nd Die" and both initialled "G.F.S." at foot, additionally endorsed at foot of buff card "12 Leads from each die for repairs Feb 1st 1887". Originally offered from the DLR Archive sale and listed in Wiseman as FKC-4, unknowingly DLR endorsed both proofs incorrectly and should be transposed. Ex. DLR Archive & "Aureum".
