1950 (14 DE) cover from South Georgia to Oregan, USA, correctly franked at 3d foreign rate by 1946 'Thick Map' 1d black and violet and 2d black and carmine, the latter exceptionally showing variety Extra dot by oval (vignette plate '1', R4/6) with the vignette misplaced to such an extent that the extra dot appears INSIDE rather than outside the oval frame, tied by individual superb strikes of type SG7 cds, with additional strike alongside.
