Description
A Very Rare German Newspaper Dropped Over England on the 1st of August 1940 “A Last Appeal To Reason by Adolf Hitler” dropped just a few days before Eagle Tag, 13th August 1940, the concentrated attack by the Germans during the Battle of Britain.
A German air Drooped Leaflet in the Western Desert “Englishmen Egyptians and Arabs of the Western Desert” This included in the papers of Captain Anthony Aspden Robinson 1st Battalion The Cheshire Regiment with his British Forces Identity Card with photograph in uniform and with a typed account “The Functions and daily life of an HQ in an Indian Division of the 8th Army”, a translation of a Message from Mussolini encouraging his troops in Bardia to defend it at all costs, it is annotated in Pencil. “Bardia attack 05.30 to 3pm – It fell 1300hrs 5th Jan 41”
