Coventry, P Kempson’s Series of Historic Coventry Buildings, Halfpenny 1797, Spon Gate, rev. Arms and crest of Coventry, edge COVENTRY TOKEN (faintly), 28mm/14.06gm. (DH 276). Another similar but rev. with period, 28mm/13.78gm. (DH 277). Another the same but bronzed, 28mm/13.88gm. (DH 277). Another but with Handel rev. and edge plain, 28.5mm/13.91gm. (DH 278a). Another but obv. White Friars Gate and bronzed, 28.5mm/13.41gm. (DH 279) Another similar but period on rev., 28.5mm/13.37gm. (DH 280). Another the same but bronzed, 28.5mm/13.82gm. (DH 280). Another but with Handel rev., 29mm/13.81gm. (DH 281), all good Extremely Fine with toning and iridescence, DH 27 and 280 with considerable amounts of original lustre, DH 276 and two Handel revs. Rare, rest scarce [8]
