Coventry, Robert Reynolds & Co. contemporary copy of Halfpenny 1793, Lady Godiva on horse, rev. Coventry arms – elephant (different style) and castle, edge PAYABLE AT NUNEATON BEDWORTH OR HINKLEY, 29.5mm/10.49gm. (DH 242b). Another the same but edge PAYABLE AT LONDON OR ANGLESEY, 29.25mm/9.93gm. (DH 242d).another the same but unpublished edge – plain, 29.5mm/9.87gm. (DH 242var). Another similar but rev. legend higher, edge PAYABLE IN BEDWORTH HINKLEY OR NUNEATON, 29mm/10.21gm. (DH 244). Another the same but in brass, 29mm/10.44gm. (DH 244). Another in copper but edge PAYABLE AT LONDON OR ANGLESEY, 29.5mm/10.18gm. (DH 244a). Another similar but tree branch lying on ground below elephant, 29mm/9.90gm. (DH 245), generally Extremely Fine for issue, all a little weak, DH 242var and 244 brass good very Fine and both Extremely rare ‘RRR’, DH 245 rare, rest scarce. [7]
