Winchelsea, Richard Maplesden Halfpenny 1794, Bees and hive under rose bush rev. Arms of Sandwich, edge PAYABLE AT RICHARD MAPLESDENS WINCHELSEA .x., 28mm/9.25gm. (DH 40). Another the same but edge PAYABLE IN LANCASTER LONDON OR BRISTOL. 29.25mm/9.29gm. (DH 40a). Another the same but edge BRIGHTON CAMP HALFPENNY MDCCXCIV 28.5mm/9.28gm. (DH 40b). Another but larger quatrefoil at bottom of obv., edge as first, 29.5mm/10.01gm, (DH 41), first Extremely Fine but once cleaned, second good Extremely Fine with some lustre, third Extremely Fine with dark toning, last good Extremely Fine with full mint lustre, DH 40a and 40b extremely rare edges ‘RR’.
