Manchester, John Fielding Halfpenny 1793, Porter carrying cotton bale rev. Bridgewater Arms (rampant lion l.), edge PAYABLE AT I FIELDINGS MANCHESTER, 28mm/10.95gm. (DH 135). Another the same but edge PAYABLE AT BIRMINGHAM LONDON OR BRISTOL, 29.5mm/9.59gm. (DH 135a). Two others the same but edge engrailed, 29.5mm/9.99gm. and 29.5mm/10.14gm. (DG 135e). Another but edge PAYABLE AT LONDON OR DUBLIN, 27.5mm/9.09gm. (DH 135f). Another the same but edge PAYABLE AT THE SHOP OF DUNHAM & YALLOP GOLDSMITHS, 28mm/11.53gm. (DH 135g), Another but edge plain and rounded, 29.5mm/12.17gm. (DH 135h), generally Extremely Fine or better – all with traces of lustre, carbon spot on obv. of last, DH 135g very rare ‘RR’. [7]
