Liverpool, Thomas Clarke Halfpenny 1791, Another good style, curved one in date and struck from polished dies, edge PAYABLE AT THE WAREHOUSE OF THOMAS CLARKE .X, 29mm/10.28gm. (DH 88). Another similar but minor variations on reverse, edge PAYABLE AT THE WAREHOUSE LIVERPOOL XXX, 29mm/11.18gm. (DH 89), Another, but obv. leg. slightly differently spaced and rev. as previous but with more detail – before the die was polished, 29mm/10.35gm. (DH 94). all three good Extremely Fine, first with reflective surfaces and fair amount of original lustre, third also with substantial lustre, second with less lustre and rev. with hairline die cracks.
