Emsworth, Skidmore’s Halfpenny 1794, Robust style bust of Admiral Earl Howe, rev. cable and anchor, edge diagonally milled, 30mm/9.86gm. (DH 35). Another but plain edge and on a smaller flan, 27.5mm/8.14gm. (DH 35a), both good Extremely Fine, first bronzed and well struck up, second lightly toned with trace of lustre, both rare. [2]
