The Great War Royal Navy pair awarded to Able Seaman John Aylward Marshall, Royal Navy who served aboard H.M.S. Diamond during the Great War, comprising, 1914-1920 British War and Victory Medals, (J. 67699 J.A. Marshall. A.B. R.N.), very fine (2)John Aylward Marshall was born in Kilburn on the 16th of September 1896.&nbsp; He joined the Royal Navy on the 1st of March 1917 stating that he was a Tobacco Salesman.&nbsp; He served aboard H.M.S. Diamond from the 3rd of March 1917 until he was Discharged to Shore on the 9th of July 1919.Sold with Copy Service Papers and Copy Medal Roll showing entitlement to the Pair.
