Charles II (1660-1685), Halfcrown, 1672 VICESIMO QVARTO, third laureate and draped bust variety right, reverse crowned shields cruciform, seven strings to harp, lett ered edge downwards, (Bull 460 ‘R3’; ESC 471; S.3366). Good very fine for issue, att ractively toned.

For 1672, six harp strings and seven harp strings exist. Seven being much rarer and as such R3.
